Bring water to rolling boil, pierce the big end, drop egg in for X minutes, keep water boiling, move egg to ice water bath, crack the big end, put back in the water.

  • X = 10 minutes: yolk firm on the outside, still dark orange on the inside but mostly firm. No green.
