The reason we, society, do not *do* those things *to them* is not because they are not deserving. It is because we should not be made to suffer the pain of doing those things to another person.
    • And if you think that doing those things to another person is not painful, please keep that to yourself, lest we begin to think that you deserve such acts.

  • Player pianos were a very early case of machines taking jobs from human creatives.
    • Except with no creativity.
