* 1/2 cup greek yoghurt

This isn't really a deliberate variation - I just didn't look at the old recipe this morning, and couldn't remember the ingredients. This was more liquidy, which was good.

15 grams protein, spinach, tastes like a banana milkshake.

  • 1/2 cup spinach puree
  • 1/2 cup fat free greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp banana flavoring
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/4 cup artificial sweetener
  • 1/2 cup protein milk

Spinach Puree: fully wilt a giant package of baby spinach in a tiny amount of water, then puree in a food processor and refrigerate

Put everything in a blender and whiz it up. Measurements aren't super precise. Go easy with the blender, I usually pulse it - it is easy to start whipping air in, and it doesn't settle easily.

I can't taste the spinach - going to try upping it to a full cup of spinach puree. Going to try adding cocoa.

Version 2

  • 1/8 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/8 cup artificial sweetener (increase this, I think)
  • 1/2 tsp banana flavoring
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/4 cup spinach puree
  • 1/2 cup greek yoghurt
  • 3/4 cup protein milk

This isn't really a deliberate variation - I just didn't look at the old recipe this morning, and couldn't remember the ingredients. This was more liquidy, which was good.

Version 3

  • 1/8 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup artificial sweetener
  • 1/2 tsp banana flavor
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/4 cup spinach puree
  • 1/4 cup greek yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup protein milk

Much more delicious, much less healthy.
