Overview

I think some of the keys to my rebuild are these:

  • I am not spending enough time being social with friends.
    • I have some criteria that affect who I enjoy socializing with.
      • EG: If you believe you have invested significant critical analysis into the matter, and you still believe that 9/11 was a US government conspiracy, you do not meet my minimum criteria.
        • Codicil: It's OK to think it was a conspiracy, as long as you add, "But I haven't really investigated / I'm not invested in that as a belief."

    • GPT is impressive, but people who are threatened by it, or who already see it as a superior species, do not meet my criteria. Merriam Webster
  • I am lacking a life partner.
  • I am not lacking financial resources.
    • Though my resources are not great, they are sufficient.
    • My relationship with wealth is toxic. I suspect I am an ascetic - though largely because of circumstance. I would rather be a capitalist entrepreneur in the economic system of 1960's USA, but the contemporary economic system renders "success" loathsome.
      • Is "Reactionary Asceticism" a thing?
