"Wiki" is a shortened name for "Wiki Wiki", a Hawaiian term meaning "Quick Quick". The name was adopted for software that made it super-easy to create and edit web pages back in the 1990s by Cunningham and Cunningham. This wiki is a place for me to capture notes, web links, post pictures, etc.
It's running on a server that costs $5/mo on AWS Lightsail and has room for about 30 gigs of data. It uses the same software as runs on Wikipedia. I wrote up a setup walk-through for my local hackerspace as they consider migrating off their in-house server to a hosted machine at Amazon.
