    • How would it affect unskilledplay's answer knowing that social security is not invested, but is paid through in real time? How would the fund be handled during a crash? How would it get charged up, initially? Whatever that chargeup process is, isn't it the opposite of economic stimulus, which is, at a fundamental level, using the free market to invest public funds in economic growth? (ie: real-time pay-though of Social Security *is the same* as investing for 25 years, it's just channeled through the citizenry).
